Re-HEAT 100% Recycling Technology
The RE-HEAT (that is, the application of Re-HEAT 100% recycling technology) technology dates back to the 1950s. An innovative idea initially revolutionized asphalt paving and then operated as a family business for years, growing into a multi-million-dollar industry today.

The essence of RE-HEAT technology is that it recycles 100% of the old asphalt layer with the addition of only an additive (Cyclogen). No need for gravel or asphalt mixing plants, thus eliminating logistical costs.

The method consists of two steps. First, the Angelo Benedetti PRE-HEATER heats the old asphalt to a maximum of 180°C at a thickness of up to 10cm. At this temperature, the asphalt behaves like clay. After this process, the RE-HEAT machine's winch-like blades lift the heated asphalt without causing any damage or contamination, preserving its condition.

The heated asphalt then enters an on-board mobile asphalt plant on the RE-HEAT equipment, and the fully renewed, recycled asphalt exits the RE-HEAT machine at the back. After that, we spread the new asphalt using traditional methods, and as the final step, a roller smooths the road. Depending on other weather conditions, traffic can resume on the recycled asphalt within 20 minutes. All this happens in a matter of minutes in just two simple steps.
